Verdict

STARSHELL found only the joint-favourite too good over course and distance on his handicap debut and first start since October. Sir Mark Prescott’s charge can open his account in this. Star Maker was runner-up in soft ground on the Turf course here last time and can race off the same mark but finished behind third-placed Glenys The Menace over 1m2f at Goodwood earlier. Earthly won a maiden race over the latter trip at the track early this year and is another to consider.
