        Verdict

        Speed Society is a half-brother to a Group 3 winning sprinter and Oxslip is out of a speedy dam. Both newcomers should be checked for any support in the betting but another chance goes to ROSE GLORIA. She disappointed on fast ground at Haydock last week but had gone close at Windsor on her debut and Mick Channon's filly gets the nod racing on Polytrack for the first time. Jive is going the wrong way after a promising debut but both Twentyfourseven and Pound Piece look likely to improve from their modest debut efforts and finish closer here.
