        Verdict

        INDOMITABLE SPIRIT failed in a bid for a hat-trick when only fifth over a mile at Chelmsford but had scored over track and trip before that and is preferred to Hawk Moth. The latter has been placed on his last three starts now and should be in the mix once again but Reginald Claude has yet to win over further than 6f. The latter comment also applies to Bookmaker though he has gone close over course and distance before and Chiswick Bey is not out of this off his current mark.
