Verdict

Lacan ended last season with a victory in Class 2 company at Kempton and should be in the mix while Lightning Spear is clearly difficult to keep right but has won both starts to date. Snow Trouble ran well in a conditions race here in October but Sacred Act has something to prove now after another poor effort on his reappearance. Course and distance winner Nigel's Destiny failed to cope off a higher mark in this grade last time but MR BOSSY BOOTS finished a close-up fourth in a tougher handicap at Kempton having won here earlier. Ralph Beckett's colt is worth another chance off his current mark and gets the vote.
