The veteran Salient managed a couple of wins over track and trip last year including this event off a similar mark. He can figure along with Fair Comment, thought the latter has yet to score in 22 starts. Lily Edge has been back on a winning mark for some time but both wins to date came over a shorter trip and a punt is taken on DAWN ROCK in a poor handicap. The latter has to be forgiven a recent below par effort at Kempton but can race off the same mark as when scoring at Brighton in August with Jack Duern taking a further 5lb off her back.
