In the maiden, the superior experience of Hessian might count for a lot, and she is selected ahead of Bedouin Beauty, with the betting your best guide to the chances of the others. There are some good stables represented here, with Ed Dunlop's 70,000 guineas purchase King's Best debutante, Bedouin Beauty, Marcus Tregoning's pair, Fire One and One Hour, Michael Bell's Hessian, who finished a promising third over course and distance last time, Mick Channon's 100,000 euros purchase, Mark Of Love, although he showed little on his debut, Andrew Balding's Rambling Light, who should improve on his back-end Newmarket debut, Alan Jarvis's 47,000 guineas purchase Title Deed, who showed some promise on his debut, Jamie Osborne's Tenement, who showed some promise for the future on his racecourse bow, and Woodygo, who was well-touted on his racecourse debut - when he was behind Title Deed - but ran very green and was disappointing. For the selection, though, once again we return to Hessian.
