        Verdict

        Hamish Mcgonagain was only beaten a head at Wolverhampton having earlier won over 5f at the same track. He still looks to be on a fair mark and it will be a surprise if he’s not in the firing-line. Varsovian won a shade comfortably over 7f here earlier in the month and is equally effective over this trip. Joseph O’Brien has sent Art Nouvelle over from Ireland with decent claims and Danecase and Zipedeedodah are others to consider but it’s about time VERY HONEST was getting her head back in front. She’s produced a string of solid performances off this mark recently and deserves a change of luck.
