Joely Green should appreciate this step up in trip and is the TEAMtalk choice in a very weak race. He ran well in defeat last time out having previously scored over 15f at Wolverhampton. He should be too good for these. Cristoforo improved out of all recognition last time out but that run came over an extended 9f and he could struggle over this trip. Bold Ewar has been running consistently of late in some desperatly slowly-run races and this drop back in trip should suit this tough gelding who rarely runs poorly on this surface. Flying Romance is hard to catch on a going day but has the ability to run well here though there are obvious stamina doubts. An interesting contender stepping up in distance could be Wilom who won at Warwick last summer before running well in defeat afterwards (including on this surface). Market moves for this one will be worth noting.
