Dancing Lyra the one to beat in this Maiden Stakes with Ground Patrol respected as the main danger. The selection is well clear on official ratings of those to have run and in what looks a poor contest he is taken to score. Ground Patrol showed improved form to be third behind Grouville last time, and he has plenty of scope for improvement and has definite place claims. Night Storm is another that could go well but he has been tried over a variety of trips and if this mile proves to be ideal he will not be far away. None of the newcomers make much appeal on breeding, so we will stick with our selection Dancing Lyra.
