      Verdict

      Ex Ex makes his belated debut. A 260,000gns purchase as a yearling, he won't have to be anything special to get involved, but OSTRALEGUS looks a safer bet. The latter returned from over a year off the track with decent fourth at Kempton and has more scope than the remainder. Both Assertive Agent and Birdie Queen are thoroughly exposed and were separated by only a length when finishing down the field at Bath earlier in the season. The remaining pair have shown nothing so far and are easily overlooked.
