Verdict

CAEN NA COILLE posted her best effort so far when dropped down in trip and beaten less than a length at Chepstow on her handicap debut. This even shorter distance could see her off the mark at the main expense of Red Romance. The latter never threatened on her handicap bow but only faded in the closing stages and could go well if avoiding a scrap for the lead with Gabriela Laura, who also likes to race prominently. Penarth Pier slips further down the weights but like the remaining pair looks no nearer winning.
