ANY DAY is the pick with I'malwaysright and Sirri on the shortlist. The selection was perhaps a little unfortunate to run into a decent sort last time out but she should be capable of landing a weak contest and this looks to be it. I'malwaysright found five furlongs too sharp an assignment on debut though finished as if there could be more to come. Sirri is a full sister to winning sprinter, Itshim so the market is watched closely. Cool Valentine is a half-brother to Dark Prospect so may be one to note with the future in mind. Soul Heaven was easy to back on debut though clearly ran better than was expected. Lochbroom Sunset is an interesting son of the first season sire, Firebreak. A race where paddock inspection will provide most clues but without reference to that or the market moves, Any Day will be a tough customer to beat.
