      Verdict

      Tralee Hills placed in a lower grade here a fortnight ago while the other principals have been racing at Wolverhampton. Percy Jones and Vega Sicilia have won novice events at the latter track with the latter preferred having subsequently gone close in a handicap at Southwell but HALIC makes most appeal. The latter improved with every start in novice company last year and having been defeated by only a neck last time, Owen Burrows’ charge gets the vote.
