AUTUMN BLADES isn't one for maximum faith as he invariably keeps a little to himself but he's certainly capable of winning this if the cards drop right and gets our vote. Alan Bailey's charge won four times on the Polytrack last winter, including over course and distance, and is certainly worth his rating of 95. Indeed he very nearly won off this rating in a slightly better race last time and, as that was his first start in six weeks, there should be more to come. His trainer has a strong hand courtesy of Lowther, well-treated despite incurring a penalty for winning readily nine days ago, and he's a huge threat to our pick. Arteus may do better now stepped back up in trip, Ceremonial Jade is a threat on old form and connections reach for the visor while Seek The Fair Land is one to consider for each-way purposes.
