Cabinet showed plenty of promise on his debut and gets the vote ahead of Common Purpose and Tawaagg. The selection was a good second on his racecourse debut behind Mount Hadley. He came well clear of the rest of the field that day and nominal improvement should see him lead the field home today. Common Purpose is an interesting newcomer from the John Gosden yard but he is bred to do better over further in time and for that reason we will pass him over. Tawaagg could therefore give him the most to think about as he is bred to be effective over this trip and the yard are flying at present. Mujma was well beaten on his debut but should come on for the run and he is another to consider. However, for the winner we are happy to stick with Cabinet to build on his promising debut.
