The first of the turf contests can go the way of LANG SHINING who is officially far higher rated than the others in this contest and is the only one with even a modicum of form of late. He secured a hat-trick earlier in the year on quicker ground and although dipping slightly since then can return to winning ways today. Guppy's Girl wouldn't need to find too much on debut to contend but is best watched on this occasion for relatively new trainer Sam Davison. Bookiebasher Babe has never shown much on the turf with her best efforts coming on the all-weather whilst Daniel Thomas would need to recapture his better ability to score. Lang Shining is the easy suggestion.
