In depth

Verdict

INNER DRIVE made a promising start at Wincanton when second to Zulu Oscar. The latter boosted the form when following up in one of these contests and Alan King's charge is preferred to Agha Des Mottes. A winner of a bumper over 1m4f in the French provinces, the latter's form is hard to assess, though she is partnered by the champion jockey for her debut in this country. Vodka 'N Tonic finished closer in a standard bumper over track and trip in November and is another to consider, while Misirlou hails from the family of the useful Oh Crick and could prove best of the newcomers.
