Renderoc lost no caste in defeat behind Nihal in a York nursery last time and has to be respected off the same mark today but that did not look to be the strongest of races by the track's standards and preference is for Cnoc Na Gaoithe, with Mister Benedictine rated the best of the remainder. The selection stepped up on previous form when a close fourth over this trip on his nursery debut at Newmarket last time and, with further improvement anticipated, he gets the vote. Mick Channon's Musical Guest is likely to struggle under his penalty for last week's win at Salisbury and of more interest may be Mark Wallace's Fair Rosamond, for who the booking of Jamie Spencer takes the eye. Course winner Hill of Grace was well held in the Sweet Solera last time and is difficult to weigh up first time in a nursery, while Martian Glow may do better stepped up to today's trip but is not certain to appreciate it. Moi Aussi will probably do better over further and a bigger threat is likely to come from the hat-trick seeking Mister Benedictine, who is progressing the right way. Cnoc Na Gaoithe looks to be going the right way though and he gets the vote.
