Attain looked to have the race in the bag over track and trip last time but SYNODIC came with a well-timed run to deny him close home. The latter is worth sticking with despite a 5lb rise given he also beat Karam Albaari and Genuine Approval on his latest start. Attain had earlier finished ahead of Bamako Du Chatelet when scoring here in January and is preferred to Miss Tiger Lily, who has been placed over longer trips recently, while The Way You Dance has won a couple of times over hurdles since scoring at Wolverhampton last year.
