steadied start, held up in 4th, ridden 2f out, stayed on to go 2nd near finish, not trouble winner
tracked leaders in 3rd, went 2nd 2f out, led 1f out, pushed out, readily
reluctant leader 2f, tracked leader, led again over 2f out, ridden and headed 1f out, one pace and lost 2nd near finish
keen, led after 2f, set steady pace, headed over 2f out, soon short of room, ridden and kept on final furlong
MALICE OR MISCHIEF is a fair performer at this level and can complete a quick double. Potential punters are gambling that he'll stay this trip but he was going on strongly at the end of his victory over a mile here last week. Both George Woolf and Paco Belle have C&D victories to their credit and will ensure there is no hanging about. The former is the more likely improver of the pair but the concession of 11lb to Richard Hannon's filly may be beyond him. Ad Vitam gained his first ever success in a Wolverhampton seller a couple of weeks ago and this is tougher.
