Verdict

COLONY QUEEN makes most appeal on the evidence of her debut second over a similar trip at Wolverhampton. She finished a couple of lengths in front of Eclittica on that occasion and James Tate’s filly looks to have every chance on that form. Harvey Dent has shown some ability over a mile but Little Rock and Boutonniere have more convincing middle-distance pedigrees with the former preferred after posting a better effort at Kempton last time. The newcomers Sherpa Trail and Phoenix Queen look nothing special on breeding and are probably best watched unless the betting suggests otherwise.
