PAPHOS is the 'handicap snip' referred to in the 12:00 preview and should be up to defying a 6lb rise in the weights for his facile victory last time. Stuart Williams does particularly well with low-grade sprinters and has in Ryan Clark a very capable claiming rider booked for this mission. The horse travelled so powerfully on his way to victory last time that a drop to six shouldn't concern backers and he remains capable of better still. Tislaam has a strong all-weather record and should continue to hold his form with conditions to suit but he likes to lie handy and that won't be easy from an outside stall, while Mango Music remains handicapped to the best of her form on this surface and had every chance when held last time. Riflessione is vulnerable to improvers but will run his usual solid race, as should Sherjawy, while the returning Boragh Jamal is another to consider.
