A few old friends but we like Fajr against Capricorn Run, Waterside and Evens and Odds. Gay Kelleway's charge has been beaten on the turf in much better races with arguably, the lack of cover in small fields, acting completely against his interests. Off a 7lb lower mark and at a track where he has previously won, this could represent a chance of regaining the winning thread. Capricorn Run was beaten off this mark over eight furlongs. He has been a credit to connections this term. Waterside is more exposed than most and could be worth a look if the market is positive. Evens And Odds brings Classic form to the table and is at least granted some slack from the handicapper having being weighted to the hilt. King's Caprice steps up to seven having taken places over six. The Kiddykid missed the break badly on his latest start and shouldn't be too readily discounted if getting off on terms. Salient looks best of the rest. A fair race that can fall the way of Fajr.
