Conqueress didn't quite see out the mile at Doncaster 11 days ago and the step back to 7f is a wise move. However, she is in danger of becoming disappointing and is the most exposed in the line-up. Cool Echo steps up from 5f after a short break and is best watched but Prufrock should appreciate the extra yardage after a couple of fair runs over 6f and Washington Blue got going too late on her debut at Chepstow and will know more today. LIFE ON MARS is another likely improver having been very green at Leicester last month. She still showed plenty of promise and wasn't given a hard time and that kindness could be rewarded here.
