Free Spin beat today's rival Sulis Minerva at Kempton last time but found Crew Cut too good. A line through the latter also gives him the beating of Blue Jack, Elna Bright and Forest Edge and he has obvious claims on that form. However, AL'S MEMORY looks to have the stronger recent form having finished third behind the progressive Tarooq at Wolverhampton earlier this month and David Evans' charge gets the vote. The veteran Rowe Park may not win very often nowadays but can still hold his own in this company and makes more appeal than the returning Perfect Pastime.
