      Verdict

Marie Deja La finished third when dropped into this grade at Chepstow but still doesn't look as though she'll be winning any time soon. Only Hope is another who has had plenty of chances and she was beaten a long way when behind Lilac Belle at Fakenham last week. The latter has a penalty to carry today and may be vulnerable against Jim Best's other runner, TUSCANY STAR. A record of no wins in 35 starts is hardly a recommendation but the nine-year-old was beaten less than four lengths by Mujamead at Folkestone last month and a repeat of that effort may suffice here. Bernard Llewellyn's pair, Tenspinhits and Budva, and Munich are others to consider in a weak contest.
