    Verdict

Larad gets the nomination here with Now And Again and Irish Playwright put forward as the dangers. The selection is in great heart at present, he is consistent, and he should be capable of completing a hat-trick of wins here. He won in good style last time at Wolverhampton when beating Danger Bird and if he runs up to that level again here then he will be difficult to beat. Now And Again finished behind our selection last time at Wolverhampton, and although he might be capable of taking a place, there is no reason to suggest he can reverse the placings with Larad. Irish Playwright is interesting as he ran a cracker at Wolverhampton last time behind Extemporise and he is one of the least exposed runners in the field, so he could be capable of a big run. Piquet would have chances if he is on a going day, but for the winner we return to Larad.
