      Verdict

      Strait Of Magellan was beaten only a head off today's mark on the Turf course here last week and Percy Veer also has decent claims having scored over track and trip last time. But a chance is taken on the less exposed FRANTICAL staying the longer trip after last month's reappearance run over a mile at Newbury. Azilian was still beaten eight lengths when second over 1m2f at Epsom and Helmsman faces a stiffer task having placed in a plating race at Windsor on his latest start.
