Verdict

Baltic Song never figured over a mile on his recent debut and this is a big step up in trip. But Top Power was narrowly beaten over 1m2f at Newcastle last time and is not out of this if lasting home. Alpasu ran well for third without threatening the winner over course and distance on his debut but YDRA finished runner-up over track and trip on his introduction and Archie Watson’s colt gets the vote on that form with stablemate Surrey Breeze harder to fancy.
