In depth

Verdict

Gallic Geordie has gone close off similar marks in the past and should have come on for last month’s reappearance here while Thor De Cerisy also placed over these fences on his return and drops down in trip. But GRANDEUR D’AME is kept to today’s distance after finishing third at Chepstow on his chasing debut and Alan King’s charge may prove the one to side with. Franigane makes his debut over fences returning from a lengthy absence while Galop De Chasse has a shout if taking part though is also engaged at Hereford today.
