      Verdict

      Lowther has won over 1m3f but today's trip will stretch his stamina to the limit. There are no such concerns for Nautilus as he scored over 1m4f at Leicester in September. But he has a 10lb higher mark to contend with while Lady Rosamunde, not badly treated on her best form, has a six-month absence to overcome. Super Say and Grendisar have been running well in lower grade handicaps of late but MODERNSTONE finished a close-up fourth to much higher rated rivals in a Listed event at Kempton last time and a repeat should see Bill Knight's filly come out best today.
