This is a competitive fillies' handicap in which Cut Ridge, Stokesies Wish, Fair Compton and Bells Beach look to be the principles and the vote is given to Bells Beach. The selection is a really game sort and she hinted at a return to form when a close seventh behind Siraj at Southwell on Thursday. She is quickly turned out again here and she should run a big race at a nice price. Cut Ridge rates the main danger as this filly from the John Wainwright yard was only denied by the well-backed Pretty Kool at Folkestone last time. That was a cracking effort and with conditions again to suit she looks to have a big chance here. Stokesies Wish found trouble in running over this course and distance last time so could be worth another chance, while Fair Compton is lightly-raced and hails from a leading yard so has to be respected. Alizar is another that can't be discounted if she ordained to put her best foot forward, but for the winner we return to Bells Beach.
