Manomine remains 5lb higher than when scoring at Yarmouth at this time last year. Candyman Can won his maiden on the Polytrack here in January but has been beaten in a handicap since while Noguchi is at his best in plating company as when landing a seller at Southwell earlier this year. That leaves SILK TRAIN, well beaten in Class 3 company at Newmarket in November but effectively 7lb lower today including Oisin Murphy's allowance. A winner over 1m4f at Kempton earlier last season, he gets the vote to make a winning return.
