In depth

Verdict

Glasson Lodge lines up with winning form to his credit and may prove good enough again, with Missie Baileys, Mr Rein and newcomer Isabella Rossini worth a second glance. Glasson Lodge put a couple of unlucky efforts behind her when coming good at Wolverhampton five days ago. That was over a slightly shorter trip in selling company, but she had the 67-rated Fair Along back in third so it was not a bad effort, and lets face it, there are no world-beaters in opposition here. Jimmy Quinn takes over in the saddle from Neil Callan who rides newcomer Isabella Rossini, and the market may prove the best guide to her chance. Missie Baileys has not repaid David Elsworth's faith since being claimed back after a Windsor selling success last October. The ability is there somewhere but she is hard to fancy on recent evidence, while Mr Rein hails from last year's winning stable and is dropped in grade, but has done all his racing at Wolverhampton so far. He should though provide the main danger to our idea of the winner, Glasson Lodge.
