Verdict

Mews House won a novices' race at Southwell last time having earlier been beaten in handicaps. Hot Hot Hot beat previous Kempton winner Comeatchoo when scoring at Wolverhampton and an apprentice’s allowance negates a rise in the weights but AUTUMN TRAIL is preferred. The latter only won a maiden at Chelmsford last time but beat higher rated horses than these and Rae Guest’s filly can go in again. With Virtue is another handicapping for the first time having undergone wind surgery since last summer and is fitted with headgear on her return.
