        Verdict

        Regal Dan has just one victory to his name in 2012 but is consistent enough which is why he's still on a higher mark. Favourite Treat generally competes at a higher level but dropped to this class in a handicap for the first time earlier this month and ran well for a long way before fading. Supporters of Rakaan have had their fingers burnt in his last two starts and he's probably better over a longer trip. COMBUSTIBLE has more scope than most of these having won on Fibresand and Turf in just eight starts. She hasn't raced since October when an unlucky loser at Kempton but hopefully she'll be ready for this and can gain another success. Pearl Nation has yet to win on the all-weather and is having his first start on this track.
