Spinning Dove has the experience to take this and is the pick ahead of newcomer Ballinger Express, who would not have to be anything out of the ordinary to take a hand, and Green Falcon. Spinning Dove should have the edge on most of these, having been placed on both starts here this year. She came to win her race on her latest outing three weeks ago but failed to get past Quickstyx and looks as though she barely gets a mile. However, she should be up to the task here unless the debutante Ballinger Express is anything special. She has obviously been hard to train, only seeing the track for the first time as a four-year-old, but her young trainer has already proved his worth since taking over from his father. Lawood has a break to overcome and a bigger danger may be Green Falcon, who shaped well despite running green on only his second racecourse appearance here a fortnight ago. Silver Cache was very disappointing last time and is best watched, so Spinning Dove appears to hold the best claims.
