      Verdict

      Keswick won over track and trip in September and won again at Wolverhampton three weeks ago. He’s 7lb higher today but still improving while first-time cheekpieces may bring further progress from BOBBY K. The latter has won twice over a mile on the all-weather this year and went close at Nottingham last month. Simon Crisford’s charge stays this far and can go in again if the headgear has the desired effect. The soft ground at Newmarket was against Derek Duval last time but he’s won three times already this year and is not easily discounted while course and distance winner Fayez is back on a winning mark if at his best. Breden was due to run at Kempton yesterday.
