MALCHEEK seems to win every other race at the moment so this might be the wrong time to be on but it's hard to ignore the relative ease of his last time out win so he gets the call. The pick ran on strongly over course and distance to dispatch the re-opposing Woodcote Place and although that one should be closer he shouldn't be in front on these terms. A bigger threat then might be Docofthebay who ran well in defeat in a slightly better race at Doncaster when last seen and off the same mark has clear claims. Icelandic took a race over the in-form Glenridding two starts ago and wasn't disgraced in listed company last time so has at least an each-way claim but to win it Malcheek looks the best option.
