Compton Bolter, Spanish Don and Fruhlingssturm are the three we like here and the narrow vote is given to the last mentioned. The selection has run well in Group 3 company and this colt may just have too much class for his rivals here. He put up a good effort in a Group 1 race in Italy last time out and providing he handles the surface on his first try on the AW then he should take plenty of beating. Compton Bolter is a multiple winner at Listed level but he was again found out in Group 3 company at Ascot last time when fourth behind High Accolade. He has got form on the AW at Lingfield and he will not be far away at the finish. Spanish Don is improving and he won well under a good ride from Liam Keniry to defeat Menokee at Newmarket last time. He is clearly going the right way but he will have to improve again to take this. Self Defense and Grand Passion are others worth considering here, but for the winner we return to Fruhlingssturm.
