In depth

Verdict

Captain Ryan reserves his best for Bath but Picansort should make a bold bid again having finally got off the mark on Turf last time. Speed The Plough is tumbling down the weights but Blue Amazon is probably better on the all-weather. GOWER PRINCESS only gets a tentative vote as stall one is off-putting but Ron Harris' filly did win at Chepstow earlier this summer and is only 3lb higher. Monsieur Jamie is also respected, though might have preferred a softer surface.
