    In depth

    Verdict

Ruby Gates still looks high enough in the weights despite placing at Kempton last time while Nawar finished third over track and trip before struggling at Sandown. Militry Decoration’s earlier placed effort at Kempton came in a lower grade while both Pendo and Subliminal finished closer over longer trips last time. But TAMERLANE wasn’t beaten far when fourth at Doncaster on his second start after wind surgery and Clive Cox’ charge may prove good enough back on the all-weather with Adam Kirby’s presence another positive
