A longer trip of 1m6f and the soft ground at Nottingham were legitimate excuses for Gabrial The Duke's recent poor effort and he has solid claims in this as does recent Beverley third Mirth. Handsome Stranger won a seller last week but the lightly-raced Chocolate Block makes more appeal stepping up in trip having won here on her handicap debut.
