A dual winner at Wolverhampton, Meadram ended last year in fine form while Noble Peace is at his best here and is back on a winning mark. Smart Connection narrowly beat Doonbeg Farmer over track and trip last month with HACKBRIDGE (NAP) not far behind in fourth but the latter ran into plenty of trouble in the closing stages when failing to get a clear run and was then hampered again near the finish. Pat Phelan’s charge is taken to turn the tables in this with normal luck in-running.
