      Verdict

      FRANKLIN D was sent off favourite here last time when attempting to follow an earlier success over track and trip. But he found himself short of room in the closing stages so will be looking to make amends today. Last year’s winner Ansaab is closely matched with the selection on running here in November but usually finds at least one too good nowadays while last month's 1m4f winner Giantstepsahead drops back in distance and Russian Realm steps up from 7f. Sheila's Buddy was a length in front of Warfare when second here last time but Pactolus looks a bigger threat on his recent second in a tougher race at Chelmsford.
