      Verdict

      WINK OLIVER won at Chelmsford in November and has gone close on a couple of subsequent occasions. David Dennis' charge makes most appeal in this given Chelwood Gate failed to threaten the winner despite placing over track and trip last time. Charlies Mate remains 6lb higher than his win at Kempton in October and Hercullian Prince's recent second came in a claimer at Wolverhampton. El Tel has gone close in a maiden race before but was tailed off on his recent reappearance.
