Veteran Swiss Cross has picked up a penalty for Tuesday's course and distance victory but is bang in form and it would be no surprise if he completed his hat-trick. Most of Krazy Paving's all-weather runs have been on Tapeta but he was second on Polytrack at Kempton earlier this year while Virile was well backed when fourth at Wolverhampton last month. Compton Prince is often thereabouts in races like this but it's about time CEE JAY was getting his head in front and the Chelmsford second runs in only his second handicap off a potentially lenient mark.
