In depth

Verdict

Eligible is upped in class and raised 6lb after scoring at Sandown. It remains to be seen if he fares any better than Al Messila, who failed to figure off today’s higher mark last time having won at Nottingham earlier. Tronada may do better back over this shorter trip but SHAWAAHEQ will appreciate the return to a mile having gone close over 7f at Chelmsford on his handicap debut with a subsequent winner behind so Ed Dunlop’s charge gets the vote.
