      Verdict

      The progressive INTREPID ITALIAN (NAP) is fancied to follow up last week’s course and distance victory with Thore Hammer Hansen’s claim wiping out his penalty. Gigi's Beach also has a claimer on board and has improved since dropped to 6f this year. Sir Rodneyredblood won here and at Kempton over the winter but looks fully exposed whereas Twelve Diamonds has only raced twice so far, though has switched stables since last year. Navajo Dawn may be in the handicapper’s grip now.
