An interesting claimer in which Mothecombe Dream, Keep Me Warm, River Biscuit, Manic, Azuree and Tiger Hunter are all given chances, with the vote just going to Mothecombe Dream. More on the selection later but, firstly, the lightly-raced Keep Me Warm could go well here as he showed promise last time, a run that caused the Stewards to have a look. The possible downsides are that he has yet to race here and, apparently, he needs to dominate. River Biscuit drops back to claiming company having won a similar race over course and distance three runs ago. The drop back from a mile should also suit today and he is well worth his place on the shortlist. Tiger Hunter sprang a surprise when landing a six-furlong course claimer last time, on which form he is closely weighted with Azuree and, if taking literal lines with Goldhill Prince, is very slightly better in at the weights with Mothecombe Dream. Basically, it's one of those, you pay your money, you make your choice situations, and ours is to just side with Mothecombe Dream.
